The author began his intelligence career in 1981 as a Counterintelligence Specialist with the U.S. Army’s 1st Infantry Division and has over twenty years experience in the U.S. Intelligence Community.He worked extensively in Europe during the Cold War and has traveled widely throughout the former Warsaw Pact nations.In addition to formalized training in numerous intelligence disciplines, he holds a degree in History from Northeastern University in Boston and is a graduate of DoD's Defense Language Institute at the Presidio of Monterey in California where he studied as a German linguist.Prior to beginning his intelligence career he flew as a “Huey” helicopter crewman with the U.S. Army.The author divides his time between Newfoundland, Canada and his birthplace of Boston, Massachusetts.
